Delete. This article has been created four times and has been deleted previously according to the A9 criteria. An article for the artist (Dave Mason) has never existed. The artist was originally a member of the band The Reels. This album was an individual's attempt at a solo career, by re-interpreting some song's of the band, The Reels. Notability apart from the band has not been established to create a standalone article for the artist. The album neither charted or received any awards. The article is not supported by significant coverage in reliable and independent sources. After the third creation of this article, the editor offered some creative editing, indicating that one of the songs from the album was recognized as one of the ten best songs in Australia in 2001. However, this is not true. The one source offered is misleading and refers to a song "Quasimodo's Dream" from the band's album Quasimodo's Dream, rather than from the solo artist's album, Reelsville. This was just a creative attempt by the originating editor to keep the article. Overall, I recommend deletion of the article according to CSD A9, WP:NALBUMS, and WP:GNG. I'd suggest a redirect to The Reels#After the Reels. This album and this Dave Mason (not to be confused with THE Dave Mason!) may not be notable on their own, but the album, and Mason's post-band career, are relevant to the article about the band.--Arxiloxos (talk) 02:52, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
