Frédéric Encel is a French writer and scholar of geopolitics . He graduated from Sciences Po in Paris in 1992 and received his DEA in geopolitics from the Centre de recherches et d’analyses géopolitiques at the University of Paris VIII the following year. He remained there studying under Yves Lacoste and earned his doctorate in geopolitics in 1997.[1] He teaches international relations at the ESG Management School, empowered to supervise research (HDR), and lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris. Seminar Leader at the French Institute of Geopolitics, he also lectures at the Institut of Advanced Studies Defense Nationale (IHEDN).
