Richard Couture started All Pro Sound as a commercial install company in 1980, in Pensacola, Florida and gradually expanded into residential install and catalog sales.[2] In 2007, Richard sold the company to a group of private investors. In January 2011 All Pro Sound was to sold Chuck Surack.
By 2010, All Pro Sound operated a 35,000-square-foot (3,300 m2) warehouse, a 10,000-square-foot (930 m2) showroom, annual sales had grown to $19 million and Systems Contractor News had ranked All Pro Sound #34 on its list of Top 50 Integrators.[1]
