Lambeth College has many years of experience working closely with employers to ensure that students have the skills and experience needed in the workplace and have strong links with higher education institutions which help students progress to university.

In 2009 Lambeth College won a prestigious AoC (Association of Colleges) Beacon Awards for its work with partnership organisations to get students with learning difficulties or disabilities into jobs.

Also in 2009 Lambeth College opened its brand new state-of-the-art Sixth Form Building on Clapham Common South Side. The new building is packed with many exciting new features which include extensive new IT facilities, a Learning Resources and Information Learning Technology (ILT) Hub, Art Studios and 3-D Workshops, Media Editing facilities, Dance Studio, Performing Arts Centre and Auditorium, and Artsists Roof Garden, Atrium and Coffee Bar.

Each year Lambeth College holds Open Events at all three of its main centres (Brixton, Clapham and Vauxhall) for people to come along and get guided tours of facilities, talk to staff and students and pick up further advice and information.
