Os Mutantes is the debut album by the Brazilian rock band Os Mutantes. It was originally released in 1968 and influenced by traditional Brazilian music styles, as well as American and British bands. The disc includes many hits, such as "Panis et circenses", "Baby" and "Ave, Gengis Khan"[1].

The album was successful around the world, being considered one of the 50 most experimental albums in history[citation needed]. It appears at number 9 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 greatest Brazilian albums of all time[2].
