Total Drama World Tour is the third season of the Total Drama franchise that began with Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action. The series extension was commissioned by Teletoon from the producers, Fresh TV, Inc.[1] In this series, 18 contestants are taken on a trip around the world, and compete in cultural themed challenges of countries they visit. An added twist in this season is that they are required to break spontaneously into song, or else be immediately eliminated. Although many did not sing in several songs and were never eliminated at that time. This is proven by a chart below. Fifteen of the original characters from Total Drama Island returned: Owen, Izzy, Duncan, Courtney, Bridgette, Gwen, Cody, Harold, Noah, Lindsay, DJ, Heather, LeShawna, Ezekiel, and Tyler. Two new characters, Alejandro and Sierra, joined the cast at the beginning of this season. Additionally, a third new character, Blaineley, was brought on to compete past the halfway point of the season. Geoff, Eva, Justin, Beth, Trent, Katie, and Sadie did not return to compete; instead, they appear on TDWT: Aftermath. This series is rated TV-PG-D in the USA.
Format
As with the previous seasons, eighteen contestants (including two new characters) partake in an elimination-based competition for C$1,000,000, led by series host Chris McLean (Christian Potenza) In this season, contestants are required to break into song whenever Chris rings a special chime, or face instant elimination. As contestants are eliminated, they take the "Drop of Shame"[2] by parachuting out of the plane in which the elimination ceremonies take place. When eliminated, they lose the chance at the million dollars (though such an elimination may not be permanent).[2]

Sw | This contestant switched teams over the course of the game. | Izzy and Sierra switched teams, therefore Izzy went onto Team Chris and Sierra moved to Team Amazon. |
Duncan was assigned to Team Chris upon his return.
In | This challenge was an individual challenge. | In the first episode, team assignments were based on the rankings, which are not shown. |
Re | This episode featured a reward challenge therefore no contestants were eliminated. | Some reward challenges weren't announced until after a vote had been taken, so a low-ranking might be listed. |
SI | This returning contestant was immune to the vote on his first episode back in the competition, despite his assigned team losing the challenge.
M | This episode was the merge, meaning the teams were dissolved and every contestant competed for him or herself. Every episode from the merge on featured an individual challenge.

L | This contestant won the challenge but still received a vote and, therefore, a low-ranking. | In episode 20, Sierra won the challenge, and she still got a vote from Cody. |
In episode 21, Alejandro won the challenge, but still got a vote from, possibly, Sierra.
W | This contestant won the challenge and invincibility but was eliminated anyway. |

Song Participation
This is a basic, brief summary of each contestant's participation in each song, with their status in each song included. In the first episode, Chris says that anyone who doesn't sing will be automatically eliminated. Turns out that a lot of contestants like Cody or Duncan didn't sing in several episodes and never got eliminated at that time. This table displays all the contestants who sang in a song, but also displays the contestants who were still active in the competition during that song, but didn't sing. This table also shows whether a contestant appeared in an episode or not, and who knew? It actually says when the contestant was eliminated, so pick your favorite character and see how many songs your character sang in this season.
