Jealousy is an album released by X Japan on July 1, 1991. It is noted for being the band's most diverse album in terms of songwriting credits and the last to feature Taiji Sawada on bass. Remastered editions of Jealousy and the album Blue Blood were released on February 14, 2007, each including a bonus CD with instrumental versions of some songs.[1] The album debuted at number-one on the Oricon weekly album charts. In 1991, it sold over 828,000 copies, becoming the 12th best-selling album of the year. "Miscast" was performed live by hide during some of his solo concerts, a studio version was completed after his death and put on the 2002 Singles ~ Junk Story compilation. "Miscast" was also covered live by Dir en grey on May 4, 2008 at the "hide memorial summit".
