SM U-165 was one of the 329 submarines serving in the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) in World War I. U-165 was engaged in the naval warfare and took part in the First Battle of the Atlantic. Sank on his way to surrender on 18 November 1918 at position 53°10′N 8°53′E / 53.167°N 8.883°E / 53.167; 8.883. [1]
