The Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences (Kyotodaigaku Sūrikaiseki Kenkyusho|京都大学数理解析研究所) is attached to Kyoto University in Japan. It is often called RIMS. RIMS is a research institute of the only mathematics in Japan founded in 1963.
