Cara Buono (born March 1, 1974)[1] is an American actress, screenwriter and director, probably best now known for her role as Dr. Faye Miller in the fourth season of the AMC drama series Mad Men.

Early life

Buono was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, in a blue-collar family.[citation needed] She made her acting debut in Harvey Fierstein's play Spook House.[citation needed]

Buono is a 1995 graduate of Columbia University with a double major in English and Political Science,[citation needed] earning her degree in three years.[citation needed]

Career
