I don't know the topic at all, but [http://en.wikipedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=List_of_ISO_image_software&diff=prev&oldid=290133818 this edit] came from an account that appears to have been used almost entirely for vandalism. It made quite a few removals, which should probably be restored. Might be irrelevant after that particular page was redirected here. - [[User:Jmabel|Jmabel]] | [[User talk:Jmabel|Talk]] 17:30, 23 June 2010 (UTC) |

:'''Negative.''' You have misinterpreted the edit. The aforementioned edit is not vandalism at all and no removals is made; only some items are moved to and fro. Besides, the article to which you have linked no longer exists. It is redirected here. The content of both articles are merged here. Capability: Rip
Would it be useful to add an additional column to indiocate the capability of ripping an optical disc to an iso image? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.87.70.232 (talk) 13:50, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
"Extract, the ability to copy the contents of the ISO file to a hard disk." --Hm2k (talk) 01:02, 22 November 2009 (UTC)- Can Create: Specifies whether the application can create a new ISO image file, either by capturing the image of an actual disc or by composing an ISO image file from locally-stored files. Vote: Two lists vs. one list
Now that we have a prototype for the list in table format, it calls to question whether the community will support maintaining two separate lists. I proposed a vote at Talk:List_of_ISO_image_software to gauge the community's support for maintaining two lists or consolidating the lists into one. - I have restarted this discussion here. --Hm2k (talk) 12:26, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Table Headers / Scrolling
Comparison chart does not have scrolling headers. Periodic repetition of headers, such as between OS platforms, would be easier to read. It would also show the primary sorting order. Stephen Charles Thompson (talk) 03:06, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
P.S. Beautiful work. Much thanks to the editor.
- Agree Thank you for this wonderful chart. Ccubedd (talk) 20:51, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with "scrolling headers", please can you provide an example. --Hm2k (talk) 01:00, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
MagicDisk
The link for the MagicDisk software leads to a product called Magic Iso Maker which seems to be shareware, not freeware. There is an option to buy it for around $25 and no information about the software license. Can anybody confirm why this is listed 'freeware' here ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.123.201.182 (talk) 20:32, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- MagicDisc and MagicISO are both made by MagicISO. The MagicDisc is freeware, MagicISO is not. Please read more carefully. --Hm2k (talk) 00:57, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Missing or incorrect information

Image Master Information
I noticed that for the program Image Master there wasn't a wikipage. I don't know enough to start a page, but if a link to the webpage was added [1] it would be slightly more useful. I don't know if adding an external link to all the programs would be useful, but it wouldn't take up much room and it might save some clicks and be generally useful. Also, Image Master is open source, but the license is GPL. Should this be added/fixed? Calc fanatic68k (talk) 20:59, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Incorrect information
I don't have the time to check all the information in that table, but I noticed that some of it is definetely incorrect. First, MagicIso supports much more formats, not only ISO; I think that they have created the UIF format. Second, the uif2iso application is available for multiple platforms. Third, I am not sure, but I doubt that there are so many tools which work only on Amiga. If someone has good sources and more time, he/she should please clean up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.117.230.25 (talk • contribs)

Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel
The link is wrong (it's redirected to Microsoft's article which does not even mention this product) Plus it looks hard to find (unable to find a webpage about it, only direct links to an executable), and unmaintained (the name of the exe mentions winxp). This entry should probably be updated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.175.74.22 (talk • contribs)
- Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel stub was created, you can help expand on this. --Hm2k (talk) 12:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
