Vishnu Manchu (born November 23, 1979), the elder son of Mohan Babu & Nirmala Devi, is an actor, producer and CEO of MBC (Mohan Babu Corporation). His film, Dhee, was one of the most successful Telugu films in 2007. Vishnu is married to Veronica Reddy, the niece of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The actor sponsors the Indian Cricket League (ICL) team, Hyderabad Heroes.

Having studied his craft through teachers and under the critical eye of his father, Vishnu broke into the Telugu cinema in the film “Vishnu” in 2003, directed by Shaji Kailas. He acted in one movie per year. His film, “Saleem” was shot on locations throughout Europe, India, and Thailand. His latest movie Vastaadu Naa Raaju is an average hit.
Other
Vishnu has produced two films as well- “Yamajaathakudu” in 1999 and “Sri” in 2005. Having an interest in special effects, he also worked as an SPFX supervisor on “Vishnu” and as the SPFX foreman on “Sri”.
As the CEO of MBC, Vishnu Manchu oversees several child companies: Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, ThinkSmart, and 24 Frames Factory. Vishnu is also the CEO of SVET (Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust), a university chain of five colleges educating nearly 10,000 students.
