Shubenacadie Wildlife Park

Shubenacadie Wildlife Park is a zoo in Shubenacadie, NS, Canada. Shubenacadie Wildlife Park is the only place other than Sable Island, NS to find a Sable Island Pony. Shubenacadie Wildlife Park's entrance is right beside a helicopter landing place. When you arrive you get a map of the zoo.

Shubenacadie Sam

Shubenacadie Sam is Atlantic Canada's Groundhog Day groundhog. On February 2nd at 8 AM he comes out to see or not see his shadow. On February 2nd, Shubenacadie Wildlife Park is open 8AM- 12PM.

Discovery Centre

The Shubenacadie Wildlife Park also has a building that's like a Discovery Centre. It has a giftshop, little animals and stuff for everyone to learn. The animals are polywogs, snakes, tiny animals, frogs and more. There is a microscope where you put an object under it and look up on the TV screen to see it up close. One of the other things is a rain cloud diorama thingy. You press a button and it starts to rain. It makes rivers and helps you learn. There is also a thing where you press buttons and it shows you where things are like marshes, lakes, rivers, etc. There is also a large color statue like thing that is a pond with ducks. You can find the building by following the yellow duck footprints. Also in another building is a mini museum.
