Hi,
Hi,

AIMstor CDP

AIMstor does provide a CDP solution not a near-CDP solution. Near CDP products are the likes of Microsoft DPM which collects data realtime at the source but only sends the journals every 15mins+. AIMstor captures the data realtime and sends the data realtime. Should the source machine go down, the AIMstor repository has the latest image (subject to whatever was on the wire) in its repository. It has incredibly high number of recovery points although can be throttled down to less.

Hi,

Talk:Red Panda has links to several Chinese web pages where 火狐 is used to refer to the Red Panda. The official names for both the Red Panda and the Red Fox are different, but I think those examples make clear that 火狐 is used for both animals. If you think otherwise, please elaborate.

Also for all I can tell, the Latin name "vulpes flavus" would be translated as "brown" or "yellow fox". The Latin word for fire is "ignis".

I don't believe I can block anyone. LaszloWalrus 20:11, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proxies

Au contraire. Proxies that are used for the purposes of evading blocks can and should be blocked. Nandesuka 21:11, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Telelogic Synergy

An article that you have been involved in editing, Telelogic Synergy, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Telelogic Synergy. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Rock Web Server, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to the page Microsoft Tablet PC. Blank pages can confuse readers, and are overall not helpful to the Wikipedia project; furthermore, blanking a page is not the same as deleting it.

If the article you blanked is a duplicate of another article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate revision. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please use the appropriate deletion process. TYelliot (talk) 18:07, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I did not blank anything, I redirected to an existing article's section on exactly the same topic. --Jhartmann (talk) 18:15, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Microsoft Tablet PC, you may be blocked from editing. The content is not redundant. If you think that it should be redirected, nominate it to AfD and recommend redirection. Terrillja talk 18:18, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're so boring. --Jhartmann (talk) 18:40, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please file an AfD request if you want to delete Microsoft Tablet PC. -- Eraserhead1 <talk> 18:20, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Renamed it, although I don't know why you did not just add content to Tablet PC#Microsoft. --Jhartmann (talk) 18:40, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you move a page maliciously, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Terrillja talk 18:41, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Other way round: coercion based on no argument at all is a good reason to be blocked. And better first read articles you link to (WP:AT). --Jhartmann (talk) 19:29, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to move the article please file a move request per WP:RM. -- Eraserhead1 <talk> 18:44, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Even you as the creator of the article asked me how to rename it because "Microsoft Tablet PC" is just wrong. Renaming in wikipedia means moving. So why not just doing it? By the way: WP:RM is for "unregistered users and users not yet confirmed". --Jhartmann (talk) 18:55, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, it isn't.--Terrillja talk 20:04, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I placed a comment on the talk page of User:Terrillja in the section between the two of you which was immediately removed. You might want to read it. __meco (talk) 14:21, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, get off it. Jhartmann didn't like that a page existed, tried to deleted it by invalid CSD, didn't get their way, then tried to redirect it twice, didn't get that, then tried to move it in what was clearly a controversial move. If you bothered to actually look at the contribs you would know that instead of firing off remarks about how you don't even need to look at the history of what happened.--Terrillja talk 14:34, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, you lighten up. It's completely irrelevant to my issue with you whether you or Jhartmann are right about the facts. You have an extremely belligerent manner in which you enter into disputes with other editors. You show not an iota of civility, but start off right from the bat hurling threats and display utter condescension towards the people with whom you disagree. You create personal animosity where before there was mere differences of opinion. __meco (talk) 15:03, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add information without verifying it properly and without adding sources. You are also requested to refrain from starting edit wars. Your edits go in violation of WP:V, WP:CITE, WP:CON and WP:EW. Use the talk page if you disagree, I myself already started it. Until then please do not keep edit warring otherwise you are in danger of getting blocked. Thank you, ShahidTalk2me 16:10, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
