Opened in 2001 and built by S&S Power, Hypersonic XLC is a roller coaster located at Paramount's Kings Dominion in Hanover County, Virginia.
It was the first roller coaster with a compressed air launch in the world. It is also the only compressed air launch coaster in the USA.
