Parade are a British five piece girl group, currently signed to Asylum Records. The band has five members: Emily Biggs, Lauren Deegan, Bianca Claxton, Jessica Agombar and Sian Charlesworth. As of April 2011, they are working on their debut album. Before Parade, Biggs was a member in the girl group Hope and Charlesworth was a member of the girl group City Girls. Agombar also had a role in St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
History
Debut album
Parade have been a support act for Shakira,[citation needed] Ellie Goulding[citation needed] and Alexandra Burke.[1] They also supported Shayne Ward on his "Up Close and Personal" UK tour in March 2011. Parade will be playing at the Isle of Wight festival in June 2011, in the 'Girls Night Out' big top.[2] Their debut single, "Louder" was released in the UK on 13 March 2011, and has so far peaked at number 10 in the UK Singles Chart. The song has also peaked 41 in the Irish Singles Chart. They confirmed on April 22, 2011 in their mailer that "Perfume" will be their second single. They have performed the song several times on tour. They will be releasing a new version of the song.
Parade will be performing at the 2011 Isle Of Wight Festival, and at the Isle of MTV 2011 in Malta.
