Spathades (Greek: Σπαθάδες) is a Greek town in the municipal unit of Paralithaioi in the Trikala Prefecture located north of the city of Trikala, 12 km northeast of Kalambaka and south-southeast of Grevena. Its residents are based in agriculture and other businesses including machinery.

History
After World War II and the Greek Civil War, the population steadily declined as residents moved to larger towns and cities and the richest countries in the world, the population dropped between the 1981 and 1991 but it grew between 1991 and 2001.
Electricity and automobiles arrived in the 1960s, it was linked with pavement in the late-20th century, television arrived in the 1980s. Internet and computers arrived in the late-1990s.
