Shahrzad Rafati is a Canadian entrepreneur and the founder of BroadbandTV Corp (BBTV) [1] headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Rafati founded BroadbandTV five years ago and has served as its CEO since inception. Early life

Shahrzad Rafati was born in Tehran, Iran before immigrating to Canada in 2000.[9] In 2005, she completed her B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia[10] and during her time there was inducted in the Golden Key International Honour Society and later served as one of the directors.[citation needed] She also studied French language at the prestigious Université Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV).[citation needed]

Career

During her tenure with Broadbandtv, Shahrzad has overseen the development of the company’s strategic vision and tactical execution and personally driven deals with Google, TELUS Communications,NBA, Warner Bros., Venevision International and other leading video production and distribution companies.
