Al-Jamiah Al-Islamiah, Patiya (Bangla:আল-জামিয়া আল-ইসলামিয়া পটিয়া), a private Qawmi Jāmiʿah, is one of the largest centers in South-East Asia and the second largest in Bangladesh, after Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam, for Islamic knowledge and learning [citation needed].
A number of students studying at Al-Jamiah Al-Islamiah, Patiya are new converts and foreign learners from different countries of the world [citation needed].
The Monthly Al-Tawheed magazine is being published by this school.

Education Pattern
The Jāmiʿah has currently these departments of education and classes: Dept. Of Nooranee (kinder Garten), Dept. Of Nazira and Hifz and Classess from elementary level to the Dawra-e-Hadith(M.A. Class).
Post–Graduate Classes:The Jāmiʿah currently offering Postgraduate degree in the field of six subjects. These subjects are: IFTA (Islamic law), Tafseer, Adab (Literature), Takhassus Fil Hadith (Specialized Course in Hadith), Qirat, Bengali and English languages.
Short Course Curricula: It is a branch of Jāmiʿah's Education Dept. for the Students of Schools, Colleges, and Universities who are eager to become Alim. The students have to complete a course consisting of five years to become an Alim.
Vocational Trainings and Other Courses: Besides the regular classes and courses, the Jāmiʿah maintains a Charitable Dispensary, Hospitals and Primary Medical Training Course and it also maintains a Technical Center for Training in Welding, Electricity, Plumbing etc.
Other Trainings and Hifz Competition: The Jāmiʿah organises training courses of Hifz-e-Quran, Qirat, Arabic Grammar etc. It also organeses a Hifz Competition between the Teenaged Huffaz of Bangladesh every year at its compound under its Tahfeejul Quran Organization and distributes lucrative prizes amongst the winners.
Facilities
All the students, teachers, Staff of the Jāmiʿah are provided with free quarters, water and power. About 2500 poor and orphan students are nourished with food, shelters, clothes, medicines, treatment provided by the Jāmiʿah. The students are supplied with text and reference books, facilitated with food, first aid, medicines etc.[citation needed]
Network of Schools
The Jāmiʿah governs about six hundred Madrasahs all over the Bangladesh under the banner of Ittihadul Madaris and conducts its examinations under a Qawmy Madrasah board on its campus. It also maintains about twenty five Madrasahs under a separate board at its compound.
Al-Jamiah Al-Islamiah is one of the three large madrassahs, along with Darul Uloom Muinul in Hathazari and Jamiatul Uloom Al-Islamia Lalkhan Bazar, that together control over 7000 smaller schools in Bangladesh.[2][3] The three schools are closely coordinated.[2]
