Southern Sudan may refer to one of four things:
- The southern part of the Republic of Sudan, sometimes known colloquially as North Sudan.
- The Government of Southern Sudan (1972–1983), a former autonomous region of Sudan.
- The Government of Southern Sudan (2005–2011), a former autonomous region of Sudan.
- South Sudan, a country in East Africa composed of the former 2005-2011 autonomous region of Sudan.
