Dubious

Agree about "self-identify" is not accurate. However, there is recognition that the the Tai as a broader linguistic group which Tai Yai, Thai and Lao belong to. My problem is more with the geographic region mentioned which means that all ethnic groups within these geographic borders are Tai, which is inaccurate. Plus the Hainan origin is in dispute and not important to the current grouping. --Jeffmcneill (talk) 04:57, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
