Captain America: Super Soldier is a third person single player video game loosely based on the film Captain America: The First Avenger.
A significant feature has Chris Evans, Neal McDonough, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan and J. J. Feild reprising their roles from the film.
Gameplay
The player will
control Captain America using his shield to be thrown, deflect projectiles, solving puzzles, and scaling walls.[4] Captain America will use free-flow and acrobatic combat to defeat his foes.[5]
Hydra’s castle will appear in the game as Captain America has to fight many henchmen such as the infamous Iron Cross, the forces of Hydra, and Red Skull.[6] Arnim Zola will also appear in the game as players will have to stop his evil experiments.[7] The game’s story is being written by Christos Gage who has worked on comics, films, and TV shows.[4] The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game can be played in 3D on 3DTVs and on 2DTVs via TriOviz Inficolor 3D glasses. The PC version[8] and PlayStation Portable version[9] now cancelled.
Captain America: Super Soldier combines a highly athletic combat system with fluid platforming and a highly tuned suite of shield attacks, as Cap explores a massive castle turned military installation. His shield can be employed in numerous ways: taking out multiple enemies at once, deflecting incoming fire back at enemies, solving puzzles, and scaling walls. Players will be able to launch shield-first into the fray with the superior force of the world's first Super-Soldier at their fingertips and they'll need every bit of that strength to overcome a castle that's both an acrobatic playground for the Captain's physical prowess and a house of mystery with enemies and danger at every turn.

24 Hours Ago, two soldiers talk about Captain America when they get attacked by HYDRA Soldiers. Captain America arrives to save them and ends up fighting the HYDRA Soldiers. After taking down a full-armored HYDRA Soldier called a Scorcher, Captain America tells the soldiers with him that the weapon the Sorcher had was not of the Nazis and then prepares to call Howard Stark.
While in communication with Peggy Carter, Captain America learns that Howard Stark analyzed the munitions he and his allies recovered last night having come from the mountains of Bavaria where the munitions were made from a rare metal there. Upon viewing a confiscated HYDRA film reel, Captain America learns about Project: Master Man and how Dr. Arnim Zola was the first to unlock the secrets of the human genome as one step towards a goal for immortality. The person on the film reel states that he will use the blood of the Red Skull in a plot to replicate the work of Abraham Erskine. The scientist also mentions that he has been given a castle in the mountains and some HYDRA Soldiers for protections while he does his experiments. Captain America drops down in a village near the castle. Captain America then uses his shield to destroy the cannon so that the Invaders can enter the village. After making contact with Headquarters, Captain America is told to take out the remaining cannons so that the Invaders can airdrop. Captain America manages to destroy the cannons at the Library's tower. After taking out the cannon at the bunker, Captain America proceeds towards the armory in order to destroy the weapons before they are sold to the Nazis.
After taking out the final cannon, Captain America finds a radio to contact Peggy telling her that the long-ranged cannons are down and that the Invaders are clear to drop. Montgomery Falsworth also makes contact to both of them asking if all the guns are destroyed. Just then, a radio dish and a hidden cannon emerge which Captain America identifies as more of Arnim Zola's dangerous machineries. Though he may not get to the cannon in time, Captain America plans to head to the radio dish. As Captain America heads to the dish, he encounters more and more of HYDRA led by Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker. Captain America plants more charges along the steel support beams of the radio dish tower giving him 10 minutes to destroy it. Baron Strucker intercepts Captain America before the lift to the top of tower but is dispatched after an intense fight. As Captain America attempts to place the final charge, Baron Strucker returns and Captain America must hurry to defeat him once again. After doing so, the radio dish is destroyed, but the cannon still hits one of the plane's wings carrying the Invaders who all parachute out in time. As the plane prepares to crash into tower, Baron Strucker surprises Captain America and knocks him unconscious as they both fall from the tower exploding more from the plane crash.
As Captain America periodically regains conscience, he is taken to Arnim Zola's lab by Iron Cross and sees Madam Hydra give orders for an analysis of Captain America's shield. After a brief talk of how Captain America's blood was taken, Zola shows his new project involving more test subjects containing the Super Soldier Serum from the Captain's blood. Zola "allowed" the Captain to live only to study Captain America's skills. Captain America reawakens in a lab where he breaks free and deactivates the electrified doors. Captain America proceeds through the base to locate and destroy the samples of Zola's experiments for an army of Super Soldiers. He dispatches HYDRA scientists, full-armored Wardens and guards and makes his way to a radio to get word to Peggy Carter. He learns that some of his friends are being held somewhere in the dungeon he is in so he hurries to free them and escape. Captain America recovers his gear and proceeds to find Bucky who is being escorted by two HYDRA grunts before effortlessly freeing him. Bucky informs Captain America that other P.O.W.s are in the base and Cap must ensure that their escape goes without a hitch. Bucky gives Captain America a radio communicator to keep in touch while Bucky gets them to a train. Captain America uses a turret to obliterate a horde of enhanced HYDRA soldiers outside on the train tracks. and Captain America gives an airstrike order to destroy the bridge to prevent HYDRA from following them. As Captain America makes his way to destroy remaining AA Turrets and rescue Dum Dum Dugan and Montgomery Falsworth. All 5 of Zola's experimental Super Soldiers escape.
After dispatching one of the Screamers (the experimental Super Soldiers each displaying telekinetic powers), Captain America continues to search for Dum Dum Dugan and Montgomery Falsworth. As he continues, Captain America must take down the remaining Screamers. After using their powers, the Screamers suffer a momentary strain on their sanity. Captain manages to find Dum Dum Dugan strapped to an examination bed in the middle of a brawl by the last two Screamers and HYDRA forces. After freeing Dum Dum Dugan, Captain follows the trail to Montgomery Falsworth who was taken by Madam Hydra when the alarm sounded. As Captain America follows Dum Dum Dugan to cover his rear, four more Screamers appear and Captain America must deal with them before moving on. Captain America defeats the Screamers and proceeds outside to find Madam Hydra taking Montgomery Falsworth in to another holding area in Zemo Manor. Dum Dum Dugan shoots down a HYDRA-copter to give Captain America a chance to go after Montgomery Falsworth. Captain America reaches the front door only to find it locked. Captain America searches the maze-garden in front of the manor for a key. Upon entering, Madam Hydra confronts Captain America searching for Montgomery Falsworth. Captain America deals with grunts on the floor while Madam Hydra attacks Captain America by a second story balcony and drags his hunting her through the castle.
Captain catches up to her and ends the chase by ricocheting her bullets back and hitting a munitions pile behind her, scaring her face. She flees, but Captain America doesn't follow and heads to a near by railway. With a major distraction caused by Dum Dum Dugan, Captain America witnesses Red Skull arriving in his zeppelin. When Arnim Zola asks Red Skull if he brought the Cosmic Cube, Red Skull states that he did and will use it to activate the Sleeper. Captain America uses a train to enter Zola's special lab where he is building the Sleeper (a gigantic robot). Red Skull arrives wanting an update on the upgraded Super Soldier serum made from the Captain's blood. Captain America follows and destroys the sample, and Red Skull orders the present Iron Cross to kill Captain America and bring him his corpse. Captain America defeats Iron Cross and pursues Skull, only for the Sleeper to awake and crumble the lab. Arnim Zola escapes and activates his iconic robot body for a later use. Captain America awakens and finds a map of his location and uses it to learn Montgomery Falsworth's location. As Captain America makes his way through the damaged base, he runs in to another Screamer and defeats it. Captain America makes his way outside and climbs the exterior of the base to the top of the mountain. Captain America sees Red Skull arrive by helicopter, but just misses him and proceeds to locate Montgomery Falsworth. After using a radar dish in order for an airstrike to take out two tanks, Captain America locates nearby AA cannons and uses explosive putty to take out the obstacle. When Captain America attempts to enter the base, one of Red Skull's men appears and Captain America uses a rocket launcher near by to shoot it down.
When Captain America locates Montgomery Falsworth, Arnim Zola in his iconic robot body arrives. He states that once he has killed Captain America, he will drain his blood to recreate the Super Soldier Serum and use it on Montgomery Falsworth in order manipulate him. The camera then pans to the Union Flag near Falsworth hinting at a Union Jack (comics) reference. Once Captain America defeats the Zola Bot, he frees Montgomery Falsworth as Zola's voice is heard stating that he will transcend the human race as Bucky and Dum Dum Dugan arrive. Bucky shoots the intercom and Montgomery Falsworth reveals that something big is underground that not even the planes can stop. Captain America states that he will go down below to stop the weapon while the others try to stop it with mortars and air strikes. Captain America also states that when the evacuation plane comes, they should meet up with it either with or without him.
Upon making his way to the courtyard, Captain America encounters another Zola Bot where Arnim Zola states that he has transcended flesh will continue experimenting on the humans in order to achieve evolution. The Zola Bot then raises the Sleeper which shoots down one of the airplanes. After defeating the Zola Bot, Captain America then uses the Range Finder to have the an airstrike attack the Sleeper. Once that is done, Captain America dodges the Sleeper's attacks until he runs into another Zola Bot. He destroys that one and fires on the Sleeper in order to buy the airplanes some time. Once the final Zola Bot is destroyed, Dum Dum Dugan fires at the Sleeper's neck enabling Captain America to use his shield to cut them deactivating and destroying the Sleeper. Upon escaping the exploding castle, Captain America rendezvous with Bucky, Dum Dum Dugan, and Montgomery Falsworth. The group then leaves knowing that they will be ready for HYDRA's next plot.
In the post-credits, Arnim Zola comes upon one of his defeated Zola Bots. Red Skull tells him to stop wasting time on his failed projects and to get back to work stating that they will be seeing Captain America again soon enough.
