Production

Production for the show's eighth season is currently underway. Brenda Strong has stated in an interview that this season's mystery arc will reveal more secrets of the Young family, giving her character more screentime.[4]

Cast

The stars of Desperate Housewives finalized new deals to make way for Season 8,[5][6] and have recently signed at the price of $12 million.[7]

Charles Mesure has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives as Ben, a ruthless self-made contractor who will find Renee Perry attractive.[8]
