Punta Carnero- this beach is located only 10 minutes to the south of Salinas and is part of the province of Santa Elena. The sea here is a little rough; however, the sunsets are spectacular. Tourists prefer this beach for walking, admiring the sunsets and fishing but above all it is the chosen destination of many surfers.
