Not true. The date refers to the last time that a goal was scored during a specific annual match on St Andrews day between the Scholars and Oppidans (the rest of the school). Goals have been scored many times during other matches throughout the years.

This is now reflected in the article after my updates. Jacob1207

I have a real hard time understanding the explanation.

¿Somebody could explain more about the bully?, i've read the rules...but they are just for etonians Supongo!

Hybrid game

I think this is misleading. I'm pretty sure that the Eton games predate the codification of either soccer or rugby and cannot therefore be a mixture of the two games. Soccer is actually supposed to be a descendent of Eton football (though I think this is the Eton field game) not vice versa.

I have amended the article accordingly.GordyB 08:48, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hard to Understand??

Whether its just me, it seems to be very complicated, and the rules difficult to understand. any chance of any one clearing this up?? Massau 18:46, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, list of Keepers is a real case where an Oxford comma would be useful to make it clear which Wall has two Keepers. Is that list even up-to-date? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjlaw (talkcontribs) 21:05, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
