The aquatics article is getting pretty cluttered by the mass of different events, I think it would be appropriate to break it down into sub articles to be easier to navigate. If the swimming section could be given different articles for gender or each stroke, or any number of options, then it might also be nice to get all finalists names mentioned as in my following example of the women's 100m butterfly final. Opinions and suggestions please, otherwise the article will remain a clutter.

I think a table like on the [[Swimming_at_the_2004_Summer_Olympics|Athens]] results page is neat, simple, and prevents the clutter problem.

Revision as of 00:40, 20 March 2006

I'm glad to see my style of having a link to the country page for the Games of the winner in parentheses instead of just the 3-letter initials has spread from the 2006 Winter Olympic Games pages. Yay. Jfingers88 06:06, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The 2006 Winter Olympic Games pages are exactly where I stole the idea from. 203.22.132.16 11:25, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fix clutter/more detail

The aquatics article is getting pretty cluttered by the mass of different events, I think it would be appropriate to break it down into sub articles to be easier to navigate. If the swimming section could be given different articles for gender or each stroke, or any number of options, then it might also be nice to get all finalists names mentioned as in my following example of the women's 100m butterfly final. Opinions and suggestions please, otherwise the article will remain a clutter.

I think a table like on the Athens results page is neat, simple, and prevents the clutter problem.
