Lorne Rubenstein (born 25 June 1948 in Toronto, Canada) is a Canadian golf journalist and author.[1] He writes columns for The Globe and Mail and was the first editor of Scoregolf magazine. Rubenstein has written 11 books about golf, including co-authored works with Mike Weir, George Knudson, Nick Price, and David Leadbetter.

He maintained a near-scratch handicap for many years, and played in several provincial championships in Canada. He caddied for a time on the PGA Tour for Canadian star George Knudson.

He has written books about golf with Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Mike Weir, George Knudson, Jim Nelford, and Sean Connery. He has also written several golf books independently

Recognition

Rubenstein was inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame in 2007. He received a Canadian Sports Media Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
