Víctor Claver Arocas (born August 30, 1988 in Valencia, Spain) is a Spanish professional basketball player. He is 6 ft 9 ½ in (2.07 m) tall[1] and weighs 236 lbs. (107 kg). He currently plays with the pro basketball club Valencia.

Pro career

Claver began his playing career with the youth teams of Maristas and Valencia in Spain. He made his professional debut with Valenica during the 2006–07 season. He played in Europe's second-level competition, the Eurocup, for the first time during the 2007–08 season.

NBA

Claver was drafted 22nd overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2009 NBA Draft.

As a member of the junior national teams of Spain, Claver won a bronze medal at the 2006 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship and a bronze medal at the 2008 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship. He has also played with the senior Spanish national basketball team. He won a gold medal at the EuroBasket 2009.
