The Hull Thunder were a British ice hockey club from Kingston upon Hull, England. Formed in 1999, they competed in the now defunct British National League playing their home games at Humberside Ice Arena (since renamed to the Hull Arena).
The team ran into financial problems in 2001 and were bought. After a promising pre-season the team; under the new owners again ran into financial trouble resulting in them finishing the 2002 season without any imports.
A new team was formed in 2003 called Hull Stingrays, they are currently members of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
The club have previously be known as, Kingston Hawks 1996-1998, Humberside Hawks 1993-1995, and Humberside Seahawks 1988-1992.
