Did De La abondon the idea of a 3-part Art Offical Intelligence series? ike9898 19:59, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)

I think they got dropped (or sold?) from Tommy Boy Records before they could release the third installment. I think AOI 3 was meant to be a collection of instrumentals and remixes which the label wasn't too keen on. They released their next album, The Grind Date with Sanctuary Records.

accuracy issues

Does "De La Soul" need to be described as "spanish for 'from the soul'"? Can't that just be cut out, isn't it a bit obvious and slightly inaccurate since "soul" is not "soul" in spanish? Also, why are they listed from Amityville in the Article and East Massapequa on the sidebar? --MrGears 18:41, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
