Does "De La Soul" need to be described as "spanish for 'from the soul'"? Can't that just be cut out, isn't it a bit obvious and slightly inaccurate since "soul" is not "soul" in spanish? Also, why are they listed from Amityville in the Article and East Massapequa on the sidebar? --[[User:MrGears|MrGears]] 18:41, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

Did De La abondon the idea of a 3-part Art Offical Intelligence series? ike9898 19:59, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)

I think they got dropped (or sold?) from Tommy Boy Records before they could release the third installment. I think AOI 3 was meant to be a collection of instrumentals and remixes which the label wasn't too keen on. They released their next album, The Grind Date with Sanctuary Records.
