Future development
Chofu Station has busy grade crossings at either end for road traffic, while trains arriving from the Keio Sagamihara Line block both lines of the Keio Line as they enter the station. Keio Corporation intends to resolve both these issues by grade separation of railway lines around the station area. Temporary station structures are targeted to be completed in 2012 and tunnel excavation works will follow[1].
