Sivutsa Stars F.C. is an association football club based in the small village Kabokweni, situated 4km NorthEast of Kruger Airport, which is roughly 30km NorthEast of Nelspruit, in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The club was founded in June 2007, and culture wise they practise the motto "uyavutha umlilo" (the fire is burning). In June 2010, they bought the Castle League franchise of Manchester FC, also known as Witbank Manchester, and hereby bought a promotion to play in Vodacom League. The club's first season at this level was very successful, as they managed not only to win the Mpumalanga Province, but also to become the Inland Stream champion at the Vodacom Promotional Championship, after a series of play-offs in June 2011. This accomplishment ensured Sivutsa Stars a direct promotion, to play next season in the National First Division.
Achievements
- Won the Mpumalanga province in Vodacom League 2010-11, after achieving 22 victories, 3 draws and 5 defeats. This was good enough to win the league, 3 points ahead of Mighty Mega Force.
- Won the Inland Stream of the Vodacom Promotional Championship, after a series of play-offs in June 2011. In the overall final, they delivered another good performance, but yet became defeated 1-0 by the Coastal Stream champion: Chippa United.
