Formula Renault 2.0 Italia is a Formula Renault 2.0 racing series that is based in Italy. The series races mostly on Italian races but it has regularly races at Belgium's Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Spain.

Since the year 2000 several Formula One drivers have race in this series. These drivers include Felipe Massa, Kamui Kobayashi and Robert Kubica.

Current Regulations

Each championship round include 2 race length about 30 minutes. Points are allowed as following :

Position 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th 15th
Points 38 28 24 22 20 18 16 14 12 10 8 6 4 2 1

In each race, 1 bonus point are allowed for pole position and 1 point for fasted lap. Only classified drivers are awarded by points.
