Lukáš Magera (born 17 January 1983 in Opava) is a Czech international footballer who plays as a striker. He currently plays for English League Two side Swindon Town.

Club career

Early career

Magera began his youth career at MSA Dolní Benešov. In 1995, after six years, he moved to Baník Ostrava where he played in the youth team until 2003.

Baník Ostrava

In 2003-2004 he won the championship with Baník.

SK Kladno

Magera was loaned out for one season to Kladno where scored 3 goals in 12 appearances.

Poli Timişoara

Magera was sold to Romanian club Poli Timişoara. In the 2010-2011 season he impressed in Liga 1, scoring three goals in six appearances.[citation needed]

Swindon Town

On 22 August 2011 Magera signed for Swindon Town on a two-year deal.[1]

International career

He made his international debut on 5 June 2009 in a friendly against Malta.[citation needed]
