Lars Sponheim (born May 23, 1957 in Halden, Østfold) is a Norwegian politician. He is leader of Venstre, the social liberal party, since 1996, and Minister of Agriculture since October 2001 in a coalition government leaded by Kjell Magne Bondevik from the Christian Democratic Party
