Aleksandr Dmitrijev (born 18 February 1982 in Tallinn) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays for FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast in Russian First Division.
Club career
At the age of 16, Dmitrijev started his career at third division side Tallinna Jalgpalliklubi, which acted as a reserve team for FC TVMK Tallinn. In 1999, he made a debut for TVMK in the Meistriliiga and appeared in 8 matches for the team in that season, but mainly remained as the reserve team player.[2]
He had a short spell in Esiliiga with HÜJK Emmaste, before joining Levadia in 2001.
FC Levadia
He was dropped from the squad and transfer listed before the 2008 Meistriliiga season after he rejected a contract extension.[3]
Hønefoss BK
On 31 March 2008, Dmitrijev joined Norwegian First Division side Hønefoss BK on loan[4] and signed a permanent deal with the club on 30 July 2008.[5]
FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast
In February 2011, he signed a 2,5 year deal with FC Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast.[6]
International career
He has been capped 70 times but has not scored any goals.[1]
