Vessu (Urdu: ويسو) is a village in Anantnag district in Indian administered part of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on Srinagar Jammu National Highway, 10 km from Khanabal. The river "Sand-run" which originates from the famous Verinag Spring lies to its East.

Vessu is a literate village with 80% literacy rate. This is highest among all the villages in Valley and much higher than the national average of India.
