The "WH denies any involvement" really? Like Cenk, but the idea that the White House commented on the termination of a random TV host is foolish. You have a source on that?

IPA is useless gibberish that I doubt .001% of the population can understand. Wikipedia claims that in American English language articles it's okay to have Webster's dictionary style pronunciation, phonetic rendering, or even a "rhymes with...". This article is the first page that comes up when you google "how do you pronounce Cenk Uygur", it should function in that capacity!

Significant Information?

Is the note about Cenk being a Steelers fan really necessary to be included in the article? I would understand if it affected his show, but it really doesn't. I've watched his show and he only talks about football rarely, let alone his favorite team.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cremnlin (talkcontribs) 02:27, September 17, 2009 (UTC)

WROK?

there is no tv station WROK in boston. what is that entry about?!

there is a radio station WRKO, but i've never heard of him working there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.3.106.1 (talk) 19:29, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Chenk: MNSBC boss “called me into his office and said that he’d been talking to people in Washington, and that they did not like my tone.”

He said much the same thing on his internet show last night but hedged around a lot on whether he thought anyone at the White House actually had anything to do with pushing him off the show. The WH denies any involvement. There may be more details at Uygur's press conference today. MSNBC responded that what they meant was that Cenk's tone was making it difficult for Washington bookers to find Republicans who were willing give commentary on MSNBC.
