Stewart's Drive-In is a classic 50's style restaurant. Started in [[1924]] in [[Ohio]] by Frank Stewart, the chain has spread. Stewart's is famous for its [[Stewart's Fountain Classics]] root beer and hot dogs. Prior to [[1990]], the old-fashioned style drinks were only available at Stewat's. Bottling rights were acquired by the Cable Car Beverage Corpotation, and is now sold in stores. The root beer was ranked in the top three root beer companies, and was nominated for taste tests in 2001 and 2002. The restaurant was originally a west coast style fast food eatery serving only root beer and salted popcorn. |
