Martin Petrov (born 15 January 1979) is a Bulgarian football player, who currently is playing for Atlético Madrid.

Atlético signed Petrov from VfL Wolfsburg. He has previously played for Swiss Servette FC and Bulgarian PFC CSKA Sofia. He was part of the Bulgarian squad at Template:Ec2.He is know for his quick speed and his long shots and is considered one of the best Bulgarians of his Generation.
