Maria Perrusi (born 13 September 1991 in Cosenza) is an Italian beauty queen. She is noted for winning Miss Italia 2009.[1] Maria is 1.82 m (5 ft 11+1⁄2 in) tall and is the daughter of a stay at home mother and factory working father. She has 2 older brothers. Before winning Miss Italia, she wanted to become a model. Her hobbies incude volleyball, swimming and dance. She has also stated that she is an excellent cook.
After winning Miss Italia 2009, she was featured in various runway shows, and co-hosted L'anno che verrà. She was also featured in Ballando con le Stelle, hosted by Milly Carlucci in March 2010 as a "Ballerina per una notte"
