David Lang (March 28, 1967 — May 21, 2005) was an American football running back in the National Football League.
Early life
Lang graduated from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California in 1986.
Professional career
He was drafted in the 12th round of the 1990 NFL Draft, from Northern Arizona University. He spent four years with the Los Angeles Rams. In 1992, he rushed for a career-high 203 yards on 33 carries and caught 18 passes for 283 yards. He scored six touchdowns.
In 1995, his final season, he was the special teams captain of the Super Bowl XXX-winning Dallas Cowboys.
Death
He was shot and killed near his home in Stone Mountain, Georgia on May 21, 2005.
