The village centre was redeveloped in 2003 with new housing, and new buildings for the community centre and popular Chinese take-away although it is a council estate and people think very low of it really it is a safe and friendly enviroment. in 2005 the council estate became famous for moving single parents and people with health issues and drug/alchol addictions, but today the estate is full of different ages and people of all genre
