Jenny McCudden is an Irish journalist. She is Western Correspondent for TV3 News, a role which has her based in Galway.[1]

She is from Naas, County Kildare. She previously worked for the Sunday World and the Westmeath-Offaly Independent and in the UK for five years with the BBC.[2]

She wrote her first book, Impact: The Human Stories Behind Ireland's Road Tragedies, after witnessing numerous road traffic accidents throughout her work. The book led to controversy on The Late Late Show on RTÉ One. McCudden was in the audience and was mentioned by host Ryan Tubridy but her presence was ignored, prompting suggestions she had been snubbed by rival broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ).[3]

McCudden worked on a TV3 documentary with veteran Gay Byrne.[3]

She has also written fiction and poetry..[2]
