The Liangzhu Culture Museum (Chinese: 良渚文化博物馆; pinyin: liángzhǔ wénhuà bówùguǎn) is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China.
Origin of the name
The culture is first discovered in a small Township called Liangzhu,in Hangzhou, Zhejiangin 1931,therefore the similar discoveries afterwards near the site is all together called Liangzhu culture.That is why the museun named Liangzhu Culture Museum.
Museum's Layout
It uses more than 40,000 square meters, including 10,000 square meters of gross area, which consist of three conventional and a temporary exhibition and other function rooms.

Liangzhu Culture's Status
Liangzhu culture is one of the most important ancient cultures in the catchment area of the Changjiang River.It is called the dawn of Chinese culture because of its rice agriculture, elaborate handicraft industry and Chinese art achievement.
