Novoshakhtinsky (Template:Lang-ru) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Mikhaylovsky District of Primorsky Krai, Russia. Population: 8,288 (2002 Census);[1] 8,915 (1989 Soviet census).[2]

Novoshakhtinsky is the second most populous inhabited locality in Mikhaylovsky District, after the district's administrative center of Mikhaylovka.

Urban-type settlement status was granted to Novoshakhtinsky in 1967.

There are a music school and an orphanage in Novoshakhtinsky. Coal-mining forms the basis of the settlement's economy.
