Indian or African?

Okay it says here that Deep Roy was born in Nairobi which is the capital of Kenya (unless there's a Nairobi in India?) yet in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005 movie) it claims he is of Indian descent. Here, too, it says he was born in Nairobi but claims he is Indian. What am I missing here, anyone care to enlighten me?

There are large Indian populations in various parts of Africa, particularly in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa. Ghandi, for instance, worked for several years as a lawyer in South Africa. Much like an Indian American might identify as being of Indian descent, Roy is a Kenyan of Indian descent. Pburka 00:01, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Apes, not "monkeys"

This is minor, but I wish people would distinguish between members of the great ape family and monkeys. They aren't the same and to claim that his characters in Planet of the Apes are "monkeys" is factually incorrect.

Deep Roy posing with a female bodybuilder(?!)

Talk about an obscure credit.[1]
