According to vocalist and bassist of the band, Sumon, Aushomapto 2 was recorded in 96 hours at Studio Bass and mastered by Rafa at Studio Hotbox. Aushomapto 2 was recorded and released by Deadline Music, a departure from G-Series which marketed their previous efforts. Songs from Aurthohin's sixth album could be heard from 'Banglalink Music Station' by dialing 5858 from any Banglalink number. As a tradition of the band, sequels to previously released songs appears on the record,'Aanmoney 2' and '_|_' (Nikkrishto 2)which are the secord parts of songs from their previous album, 'Shurjo 2' a sequel of a previous single 'Shurjo', and 'Golper Shuru' which can be treated as a prequel to 'Audbhut Shei Chheleti' from their first album [[Trimatrik]]. Due to illness, [[Kamal]] couldn't participate in the whole album and played in 3 songs. Most of the guitar solos are done by Shishir. While Rafa also contributed guitar solos in 3 songs he was also filling in as a drummer. |

Aushomapto-2 is the sixth official album of Bangladeshi heavy metal band Aurthohin. It is a follow up of their 2008 release Aushomapto-1 and while the album itself acts as it's sequel, it features sequels to previous songs. It is also notable for the departure of drummer Shuvo a long time collaborator of Aurthohin.

According to vocalist and bassist of the band, Sumon, Aushomapto 2 was recorded in 96 hours at Studio Bass and mastered by Rafa at Studio Hotbox. Aushomapto 2 was recorded and released by Deadline Music, a departure from G-Series which marketed their previous efforts. Songs from Aurthohin's sixth album could be heard from 'Banglalink Music Station' by dialing 5858 from any Banglalink number.
