Stephen’s political interests include: health care (particularly cancer treatment and respiratory diseases), education, science and technology including satellite technology, international trade, policing, addiction treatment, urban regeneration, and government procurement of IT projects[3].
Stephen represents his interests in health, education, and science and technology, in Parliament through his involvement as a member of:

In his first term as MP, Stephen has secured over £250 million from the government for infastructure investment in Stevenage for housing, schools and the Lister hospital, which will benefit residents of the constituency and the surrounding areas. He is leading a campaign for a satellite Radiotherapy Unit at the Lister Hospital. Jobs and the economy are vitally important to Stephen; he works closely with North Hertfordshire College and spends time with local businesses[7] .

Stephen commenced his political career in 1999 in Warrington where he managed a range of local council, Parliamentary and European election campaigns, before moving to Hertfordshire in 2001 to work as a Campaign Manager.
