Copies of most of our microfilmed collections can be sent to your school or public library at no cost to you! Just let us know, and have your librarian submit the form at www.aaa.si.edu/askus/interlibrary-loan
You might find some amazing digitized collections. These will be a part of a featured article project this summer, so feel free to get started.
A unique collection of oral histories are housed at the Archives of American Art, and many are transcribed online and in the public domain.
We will be releasing a large selection of PD images to Commons this summer, but, you might find a low-res image for your article to be uploaded to Wikipedia in our Image Gallery.
The Archives of American Art Barnstar was created by Archives staff. This special barnstar uses the classic image of a painter's palette - the palette of American artist James McNeill Whistler. Staff and Wikipedian in Residence, SarahStierch, will be awarding the barnstar to users who make quality contributions to this ongoing project!
